Breakfast at Suttons Beach Redcliffe 15 April

Great turnout for a hearty breakfast on the beach at Redcliffe. Good location, amusing crowd and plenty of chinwagging made for a refreshing meeting finished by a tour along the beachfront from Redcliffe to Sandgate.

More variety is planned with Richard (46 Tudor)sponsoring next get together at the Cleveland Hot Rod Show on 29 April.

Relics April 1 Club Stall at Redcliffe Swap Meeting

Club Stall at Northern Rodders SWAP MEET at Redcliffe Showgrounds Recreation Street on 1 April, was a success with 3 members selling more than $3000 of excess new and used car bits from their garages. Putting a club stall up at the bigger swap meetings & shows will benefit members and promote the club.

Relics March 11 Run to Mooloolah with the T'Birds.

Attendance at the 11 March run was a tad skinny. A pity after all the work and organization put in by Jill and Glenn O'Donovan. After the meeting we departed the Humble Pie and went via Steve Irwin Way to hook up with the Thunderbird Club at Mooloolah. The rowdy crowd was controlled by the County Sherriff at the Thunderbird Cafe where good food and BS was aplenty.

Relics February Run to Kilcoy.

A good turnout on 11 February for the revamped monthly Resurreceted Relics run. We have changed the format with the startpoint for most runs being the Humble Pie (formally the Big Fish) on the Bruce Highway first exit North past the Bribie turnoff. We will have 2 different event organizers each month to inject new ideas and places to go.

February's run was from the Humble Pie to Kilcoy with a pitstop for some at Woodford. Alibaba broke water restrictions and hosed down a local tree that must have looked drought stressed. The bric-a brac shop at Woodford had less junk than my garage, so we can make a stop there enroute next time.

There were about 16 cars with a wide variety of marques represented. Suprisingly there were no breakdowns, dramas or dog bites on this event, however the diet was blown with Humble Pie morning tea and a big nosh at the Kilcoy Hotel.

We encourage all the members to join in for the runs and bring their ideas to the table and a few drinks afterwards always helps the ideas come along.

Hey everyone,

thought I'd drop a line to give everyone the low down on the 27th Jan at da Willybank T & T. We successfully picked the f@#*#g HOTTEST Saturday arvo to go.Man, the mercury hit da high 30's ALL arvo. We had a few auto-trans issues with the heat so that made the cruze there and racing kinda interesting {man I'd LUV a cogger} No one was running any special times with that kinda heat.Including a vapour-lock hey Troy?! Dead set the staging lanes looked like Lions drag strip on a Sat/night with the yankee muscle we had there, Camaros, Firebirds,Challengers,Cuda's,Chevelle's.... We found a perfect way to lose a few pounds, sitting in a cranky muscle car with the driveline boiling, in your your "winter" longs and a skull bucket with the windows up, FUN HEY?! We want to have another T & T run in JULY before the August Nostalgia's, good chance we won't be sweatin so much! So anyone that's interested come along! for a race or just a tag-along....... I've attached a couple of snaps.
